Usage
Intended for use at intersections and railway crossings.
Purpose
To bring traffic to a complete stop.
Action
- Bring your vehicle to a stop behind the stop line.
- If there is no stop line, stop with the front of the vehicle in line with the sign.
- At a three- or four-way stop, do not move off before vehicles that stopped before you have moved.
- Proceed only when it is safe to do so.
